Maika
Maika’s journey to joining the Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery team is truly special. She started as a patient with us!
After being born with a cleft lip, Maika underwent several surgeries in her childhood and adult life. Her last corrective surgery was performed at Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery, and she is thrilled with her results! Maika believes this personal experience gives her a unique perspective and a deeper level of understanding and compassion when dealing with patients undergoing similar surgeries. She loves supporting these patients and sharing the life-changing details of her own journey.
Maika’s Background
As someone passionate about making connections with people, Maika thrives in her role as one of our patient services representatives. She has almost a decade of experience in customer service and loves utilizing her skills to ensure that the expectations of every person that walks through our doors are exceeded. After all, she knows firsthand the quality of care that our team delivers and that each patient will be in great hands!
Maika’s kind and generous nature make her an incredible asset to her co-workers and someone whom our patients immediately feel comfortable with. She strives to make each person she comes in contact with feel heard, understood, and happy. Maika knows that the procedures offered at Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery don’t just improve a person’s appearance but also the quality of their life. She feels honored to play a role in this process and work with a team that has a common goal of restoring confidence in the lives of our patients.
When outside of work, Maika is a creator in the truest sense. She is passionate about the arts, humanities, and film and is a writer and graphic designer. Maika loves discovering the stories behind the people she meets and the places she travels and firmly believes that each of us has the capacity and power to make the work a better place through our words and actions.
