Mohs Reconstruction Photos - Case #2892

This 61 year old man had a large nasal defect after removal of a skin cancer using the Mohs technique. He underwent reconstruction using a small piece of cartilage from his ear to maintain his ability to breathe through the nose and to help preserve the shape of the nose, as well as skin from the cheek to replace the missing nasal skin. He has essentially no visible scarring and is able to breathe well through the nose. This surgery was performed by Dr. Garrett Griffin at Midwest Surgery Center in Woodbury, MN.
