This 66-year-old man had a 2-centimeter defect of the right temple after Mohs excision of a skin cancer. The wound was reconstructed by moving the surrounding skin in a technique called a “rhombic flap.” There is essentially no visible scar. Most importantly, one’s attention is not drawn away from the eyes, which are the focus of social interaction.
