This 62 year old woman didn’t like how her brows angled downwards and how she had multiple folds in her upper eyelids. She met with Dr. Garrett Griffin and she was a difficult case because even slight raising of the brows made her upper lids too hollow. Hollow upper lids generally make people look older. A compromise to achieve improved appearance while avoiding hollow upper eyelids was to perform a temporal browlift which subtly raised the outer half of the eyebrows, in addition to a conservative upper eyelid lift. This created symmetric upper eyelids with fewer folds of skin, and made her look younger and more alert.
