This young woman developed right sided facial paralysis due to Lyme disease and recovered with right-sided synkinesis. Lyme disease can cause facial weakness identical to Bells palsy. She didn’t like the way her eye closed and her mouth pulled down. After botox injections for synkinesis, her face looks more symmetrical and relaxed.
