Rhinoplasty Photos - Case #3118

This beautiful young woman didn’t like her nose. She felt it projected too far from her face and that there were several visible bumps and shadows that were distracting. She saw Dr. Griffin for a consultation and decided to proceed with a rhinoplasty to address these concerns. In order to move the nose closer to the face, the septum was reduced. The “bumps and shadows” were due to her nasal skin being very thin, which showed all of the undulations of the underlying cartilage. To make the nasal surface more smooth, the shape of these lower nasal cartilages was softened and then covered with a thin layer of tissue from the scalp to act as a camouflage. She is now 1 year out from surgery and her nose no longer acts as a distraction from her truly gorgeous features.
