Rhinoplasty Photos - Case #3053

This beautiful 59-year-old patient came in to see Dr. Tolan because of nasal congestion and difficulty breathing. She also expressed an interest in modifying the outside appearance of her nose, specifically the bump on the bridge of her nose. During her consultation, Dr. Tolan also discussed facial balance. A person’s face is considered well-balanced when the forehead, the nose, and the chin make up equal thirds of the face from the front, face-on view.
Balance is also considered from the profile, as it looks at the forehead, the nose, and the chin from the side. This patient shared that she felt her chin seemed slightly smaller than ideal for her face. Dr. Tolan performed a septorhinoplasty to address her breathing difficulties and the bump on her nose, and also performed a chin augmentation, to make her chin more balanced with her facial features. The end result is natural-looking, balanced and beautiful!
