Mohs Reconstruction Photos - Case #1465

This active, senior male had a basal cell carcinoma of the right eyebrow and lower eyelid removed using the Mohs technique. He was referred for options of reconstruction of the defect or open wound. We were able to reconstruct the eyebrow and eyelid region with a full-thickness skin graft from region of his collar bone. To smooth the transition of the grafted skin and his native normal non-involved skin he underwent dermabrasion. Photos show him before and over 6 months after to reveal a natural, unoperated appearance of the eyelid and eyebrow region with no distortion of the eyelid or eyebrow region. This patient’s care was provided by Dr. Christopher Tolan at Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery and Esthetic Skincare.
