This healthy, active male had a basal cell carcinoma of the left lower eyelid removed with the Mohs technique. He was referred for options of reconstruction of the defect or open wound. We were able to reconstruct the eyelid/cheek region with an advancement flap, elevating the skin from the area surrounding the defect/open wound. Photos show him before and over 6 months after to reveal a natural, unoperated appearance of the eyelid/cheek region with no distortion of the eyelid or cheek region.
