Patient #3026

This pleasant woman didn’t like the droopy skin in her upper eyelids and bags below her eyes. To treat the droopy upper eyelid skin, she underwent a trichophytic browlift and upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Griffin. A trichophytic browlift removes a strip of forehead skin which subtly elevates the eyebrows, lowers the hairline, and removes forehead and glabellar (crow’s feet) wrinkles. To treat her lower eyelid bags, she underwent a transconjuctival fat repositioning lower blepharoplasty and CO2 laser resurfacing of the skin. The transconjunctival incision is made on the inside of the lower eyelid so it is completely hidden. Fat repositioning uses the fat that is causing the lower eyelid bag to our advantage, moving it into the “tear trough” hollows like a permanent filler. CO2 laser removes fine lines. The hairline incision for the browlift is invisible. She had a great result and looks much more well rested and youthful!
